I can confirm that for all devices with Chromecast built-in, updates are handled automatically by Google's servers when the device is idle and connected to Wi-Fi. There is no manual update button in the app.

If the update is failing, please try these essential troubleshooting steps to force a connection check:

Unplug the power cable from the soundbar and the sub-woofer for one minute, then plug both back in. This forces a system-wide update check.
Ensure the MagniFi 2 has a strong Wi-Fi signal where it is located.
