Gemini alarm thumbs up or down wth

I was awoken this morning to the alarm only giving me the option for thumbs up or thumbs down and neither would work. I was stuck having to reboot the device and shutting off my lights with another platform. Google really needs to get their stuff together this wasn't what I paid for and they marketed a much different device.. installing my trust to furnish my home with them. I'm about ready to rip them out..total BS product and bait and switch tactic GOOGLE

I understand the situation, your alarm went on in the morning, but the screen glitched and showed you buttons that did not work. you were forced to manually reboot the device and had to use a completely different app to turn off your lights. To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

What kind of device gets the issue?
Is this a nest device?
Is this the first time with this type of issue?
After restarting the device did you see the same behavior?
