Google mini not responding in individual assistant voice

So i recently reset our google mini's and ever since the google mini only responds in the assistant voice of the account holder (me) as opposed to the individual voice chosen by my wife.

My wife runs google assistant on an iphone 12

I run assistant on a number of different Android devices.

Is there a setting im missing?

I know how to change the assistants voice and i have them set accordingly, my wife has the British Female and it responds in that voice on her phone, but when she communicates with the mini it responds in the voice i have chosen for my assistant.

Hi Paul,

Sorry that the team is making you go back and forth. However, as I stated earlier, this is a voice recognition issue. Voice recognition is controlled by Google Assistant and is not the actual device's issue.

If you'd like, you could try to do a reboot and Factory Data Reset on your Google Nest Mini. Please let me know if this resolves the issue or not.

A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings.
Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
