topic Device audio for google routine in Speakers and Displays

Created custom routines via my phone, but device states it can only.play through my other google home speakers, and not just my phone or the device that created this routine. I want certain routines to play via the device that created the routine vs playing throughout all compatible devices. The options are not there for me to do this for only custom routines. For pre made, everything is great. Help? TIA

Hi @AlliK, it appears to be working as designed and you can't do what you want to do, so there's no fix. You can leave feedback and suggest the feature and maybe it'll appear in a future update.

Contrary to belief, the assistant has different implementations on various devices and does not function equally or with similar features on all. Why that is no one can say but Google, and they aren't saying.
