From another member reply I see that if you enable night mode when it turns off the device will make a sound. Unfortunately there is no option to disable the sound.

It doesn’t seem to offer a benefit to the user to be distracted or woken up by the sound. If you could, request google to remove it or ask the user to enable it.

thanks

Hi, every day at around 7am my nest hub speaker makes a loud pop sound. Even if with volume set to low the noise is loud.
I can’t find anything that’s causing it or a reason to exist.
looks to me it’s a software bug. Can you please advise if it’s known and what can be done to solve my issue?
thanks

From the Home App I followed the path to Night mode but I do not see any option to avoid the popping noise. Can you tell me exactly what is the option? Thanks

I see. You are saying it’s part of night mode.

I do want to have night mode on.
I don’t understand why there is a need for a popping sound? Google should remove it or offer an option to disable it!

Hey Max23,

I do appreciate the feedback and truly am sorry for the popping noise you are hearing. When you have night mode on, and it comes to the end of the active period, the hub's speaker will make the popping/clicking sound. I will be sure to provide this feedback to our Team, as we are always looking to improve our products. Please let me know if you have any other questions from here as well.

Best regards,
