Google mini speaker link issues

Google Home keeps telling me that one of my mini speakers isn't link yet when I give it a voice command. But if I go into the app I can play music to the speaker and adjust the volume. Have tried factory resetting the device and re-adding it several times. I've also verified the settings of the speaker against others in my home.

@dch5876 can you check to see if the speaker is assigned to a room? Sometimes that's the behavior when that happens. I'd also check to make sure you're signed in to the same account for both the phone and speaker as well as making sure both are on the same WiFi network.
