Google Nest Hub not showing all pictures in photo frame!!

Have been able to choose photo albums from my nest hub for photo frame. however, of the 2500 pictures in the album it only shows/replays about 250 of them. I am having to deselect the album and then reselect the album to get the player to show different pictures out of the same album. this seems to be an error or is there a max number of photo's the nest hubs can choose from for photo frame to work? Also, it will not allow anyone else other than myself to favorite pictures from that photo frame despite having given rights to do so. Please help?

Welcome to the Google Nest Community Forum.

Apologize for the late response here. Please note that Google Photos automatically attempts to select what it thinks are the best photos on your album. From your existing private and shared albums, Google Photos attempts to remove objectively bad photos (blurry, poor exposure, low resolution, near duplicate) but doesn't otherwise curate the contents of your albums. To avoid this, you need to turn off curation for those albums when you change the Personal photo curation setting to Live albums only.

To set up a Live Album in the Google Home app, follow the steps below.

Open the Google Home app.
Tap the Nest display > Settings > Photo frame.
Tap Google Photos > Select family & friends.
Tap each face to include them in the Live Albums.
Once finished, tap Confirm.

Note: You can create Live Albums within the Google Photos app.
