Nest Mini Will Not Finish Setup

My recently purchased nest mini will not finish setup. I've plugged and unplugged, and factory reset but I continue to get the same results. The speaker shows up in the home app, but if I "hey google" it. it says the device is not setup. If I press the "play music" button in the app, it show the message: "unable to play music on this device at the moment".

I'm having similar issues to the folks in this thread but I haven't moved or changed wifi.

Same problem with my Nest Mini now for at least six months. I gave up. It's really awesome how Google has offered some advice on how to fix this issue! Guess we'll just have to buy another one and hope that works. Pfft!

I'm having this same issue - I've plugged and unplugged, factory reset multiple times, the lights will not stop flashing even when left "updating" for over an hour. Beyond frustrated.

I'm also having the same problem after moving. The nest mini won't connect to the wifi no matter what I do...
