topic Network overload SSDP packets/traffic in Speakers and Displays

Have suddenly started getting significant network congestion issues manifesting in overload of SSDP packets bouncing around the network crashing the router and bogging down access points.

Have numerous Google/Nest Home and Hub devices. Can't pin point exactly, but removing the 'last' Google Home Mini (1st gen) in a particular room seems to stop it. It's not the specific device as I've replaced it with identical spare Google Home Mini with same results.

Symptoms look very similar to this 2018 issue and have started in the last couple of days: https://www.theregister.com/2018/01/18/chromecast_flooding_fix/

As the devices bounce the packets around to discover each other, I can really be sure it's specific the the Google Home Minis (that I don't believe have had any recent firmware updates) or another firmware update on one of the other devices (Hubs, Hub Max, Home, Audio, Mini 2nd gen etc).

Anyone else experiencing similar symptoms?
