Google nest audio tunein problem

I am a fan of google products but I have disappointed today.

The tunein doesn’t work on my google nest audio that I have bought last week. It cannot find station that I request. When I request similar station with similar command from google nest hub or google nest mini, they work perfectly. What is wrong with this google nest audio?
it seems that this problem is there from the mid of January? Any solution or I should return it?

Please provide more information about your issue other than it just doesn't work.

This is a community forum supported by other users from around the globe, for me in the UK TuneIn radio isn't a default radio service and we use Global Player.

Hi,

it seems that google nest audio and google nest hub have different algorithm and cores for running a command. For example

”play radio farda europe in tunein” in google nest hub works without problem but in the google nest audio, it says there is no such a radio station in tunein and offers to play radio instead. Please pay attension the station name i is ”radio farda europe”.

could you please check and propose a solution.

Hi,

great thanks for helping me 🙂

I have found the problem is the “play radio” built in command in google nest audio.

this command is not available in other google nests.

when the radio station name starts with radio, it gets confused and try to play favorite radio which can be defined or the latest radio you played.
I have tried both of “‘ and ‘ ‘ to indicate the radio station name but it didn’t work 😞

any comment?

Similar issue here. Cannot play RTE Radio which streams via Tunein. Doesn't appear to be a Tunein issue as I can play RTE Radio on my Sonos speaker with no problem.
