Cannot factory reset Mini Gen 1

Cant get the Mini Gen 1 to start, "Welcome...". Tried pressing bottom button - saw a green light but no factory reset; Tried 11 power cycle trick no sounder. I see 2 white lights then 4 white lights then the 4 lights will occasionally pulse front to back (like waiting for question). Google Home doesn't see it and I don't hear it to confirm factory reset.

Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Home Mini. Let's go ahead and try these steps:

At the side of the Google Home speaker, unplug the power cord and wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in and wait until the 4 LED lights up on top.
Repeat the first step, 10 more times.
After you plug the power cord back in the final time, wait for the device to reset. The device announces "Welcome to Google Home" to signify that its ready for setup.
