Google Hub Max call won't ring on my iPhone

Hello,

When my kids call my phone from the google Hub Max using the Duo app, the call does not ring on my iPhone. It will show up as a missed call if I open the Duo app but the calls never ring to alert me that they are trying to call me.

It does ring normally when they call their Dad's iPhone or their grandfathers phone. I've googled this and checked settings but I can't seem to figure out what is wrong.

I would love some help.

Thanks for sharing details regarding this issue. I know how hard it can be to not have such an important feature work when needed - we're here to help.

A few questions:

When did the issue start?
What account is logged in on the Google Nest Hub Max while they're making a duo call?
How many accounts are logged in on the Nest display?
Does the same thing happen when using a different account on the Nest Hub Max?

Good morning,

My Google account is the only one logged into. The problem started with my last Google hub actually. I upgraded to the Nest Hub Max and I’m still having the same problem from when I set up the new Nest.

It only happens with my iPhone, with the Nest logged into my own account.

It doesn’t happen when we call other numbers from the Nest.

Thanks for that information, and apologize for the late response.

Could you try adding a different account to the Google Nest Hub Max, then check if it will have the same behavior? To add a new home member, please follow the steps below or visit this link for more information.

Open the Google Home app .
Switch to the home you want to share.
At the top, tap Add Invite home member Invite person.
- If you don't find "Invite home member," tap Add person to home.
Enter the name or email address of the person you want to invite to your home tap Next.
Review what’s shared when you add someone to your home tap Next.
Review the person’s access to your home tap Send.

My apologies for the delays. Upon further checking, calling your own duo account using your Google Nest Hub Max is not supported. For now, you can only use your Duo account on your phone to call your Nest displays or speakers.

I do see it as a missed call so at least I know when my kids try to call me.

Same problem here. Kids try to call me form nest hub max but my iPhone just won’t ring. Hope the future updates can resolve the problem.

Same question here- frustrating that calling my own phone is not an option- was hoping this would be an easy solution to have kids call me when I am not home!! Please update soon!!

I am using the same Google account to call my own phone. When we call other people (whom the account is not registered to) it rings through fine.

Is there still no way for my hub max to call my own duo account? I was really hoping the kids would be able to call me from it but nothing is working. I really hope this is something google can come out with in the near future this was a big selling point of the hub max for me
