Ads on Nest Hub Max

After all of a sudden hearing bells and seeing the Taco Bell logo on my Nest Hub Max, I have checked with the madebygoogle support and that was indeed an ad I was seeing. When did this start and where in the T&Cs can I read about them, because I couldn't find anything on it. Still waiting for an answer from them on how to opt-out, if this is even an option.

I just saw an ad on my screen. If ads on this will be a thing, I will be getting rid of mine. Ads on a device like this are unacceptable to me.

I agree. I don't mind ads, but not this intrusive and not on this sort of device.

To follow up on this, Support kept asking for more and more details. I gave up, as it didn't happen since, but I'm keeping an eye on it.
