Hello.

I am hoping someone can assist.

My elderly parents dont have a mobile phone which can accpet google home as a downloaded app. ( and no, updating the phone isnt an option).

I would like to set up Chromecast on their TV and a Google mini. Can I use my google home set up, even though they live in a different location?

You can setup a chromecast w/GTv without a phone (you still need a Google account). You have to have a phone for the mini. You could setup a second home in your home app, but, be aware that cross home activity has been reported. Speaker from different house responding.
