Google nest default language

I bought a google nest mini in the Netherlands but I am not a Dutch speaker. Problem is My google nest keeps answering me in French!!
Everything I have on the mobile and home app are in English but me and my device don’t speak the same language.
Is there anyway to change the default language of the divide in to English (or at least Dutch since I bought it in the Netherlands!!)???

Hey Aorp,

Thanks for reaching out. Let's check some settings on your phone to make sure everything is properly configured.

Are you using an iPhone? If so, make sure that the language and region of your phone is set to EN-US or any region with the English language. You can also give these steps a try:

Open the Google Home app.
At the top-right, tap the Account icon.
Tap Assistant settings> Languages.
Tap English (United States) or whatever language is currently selected.
Note: By default, the language is set based on the customer's region.
Choose the preferred language to use instead. It will immediately apply the selection.
