Nest Mini asks for PIN when connecting from Windows 10 PC

When trying to connect with Nest Mini from my PC with a bluetooth adapter, the following screen shows up:

I have not set up any PIN for Nest Mini. Could someone please help connect my PC with Nest Mini?

Thanks for stopping by on the Google Nest Community Forum.

My apologies for the late response here. Please note that Google Nest mini or any of our speakers and display doesn't need a pin to connect to a device via Bluetooth. You might want to check the Bluetooth setting on your computer and disable the pin and connect it with your speaker.

The issue was that I was using an outdated adapter.

To confirm, are you pertaining to a Bluetooth adapter? If yes, you will need to check with the manufacturer if there's an option or way to update it. If not, it won't be compatible with your speaker.
