Google home says wrong song name

My device is playing music but when I ask what song is playing it gives me the name of the first song I asked to play. This **bleep** happens consistently and I’m this close to taking an axe to it. How do you fix this stupid **bleep** so I can start learning the names of songs I like that I’ve never heard before?
