Hi, I have am currently in the process of building a large house with different living quarters housing my extended families. Given that each family has its own Google account, Google Assistant enabled devices, living rooms, bedrooms, etc... would you guys recommend a separate internet network or SSID within the entire house? Is it possible to just use one meshed up network but still retain that separation? My concern with multiple SSID is that when I move from one living quarters to another, that there might be a drop in WIFI signal? How do most people who are living in big numbers set up their internet?

Get the Nest or Google WiFi and set all your devices on the guest network. I setup mine on this manner and it works great. Plus it isolates all your smart home device outside of your primary Network.

Hi, darrenyeo88.
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. For this kind of thing, it really does come down to preference. It's common for multiple networks to exist in one space, especially in places like apartments where there is a lot of overlap. You can run into some interference if your points are right next to one another, but proper spacing should prevent this. 78912's suggestion of using guest and primary networks could work as well.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this.
Thanks.
