Nest mini bluetooth keeps on disconnecting

Connected Windows11 PC to nest mini as a speaker. Worked before, now doesn't

Tried clearing bluetooth devices and repairing on both devices. Both devices now showing paired, but when trying to connect, connection drops immediately.

Also, paired Nest Mini shows up now as Other device instead of Audio on PC.

Hi Princess,

Connected Nest Mini with iphone 12 mini and it was playing music for about 30mins when bluetooth suddenly cut off.

Can’t reconnect with Nest Mini as it has stopped broadcasting its signal.

Only way to reconnect is to do a hard reset.

I too have this issue with the nest mini. Works fine with an iPhone 11 but cuts off after 10 to 30 minutes with an iPhone 12. Tbh this is a common problem with the nest mini and it’s Bluetooth connection and there are multiple post with no solution or response from Google yet alone a fix for it.

i don’t have an android device at hand. And to be fair this seems to be a common issue with the nest mini not keeping connection with apple devices, so it should be in your issue tracker already. Anyways here is my current firmware:

We appreciate your efforts.

A few additional questions and steps:

Are you able to play audio from media sources properly even while not connected to the Bluetooth device.
Check for possible nearby interference sources like other Bluetooth devices, high voltage appliances, or devices connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If possible, place both devices in the same room.
Clear all paired Bluetooth devices with the voice command: “Hey Google, clear all Bluetooth devices.”
Reinstall the Google Home app.
