Phone making noise when saying Hey Google or anytime microphone is used

All of the sudden when I say hey google, or mash the microphone, in the Google app, it makes a recognizing noise that I do not want to hear. I cannot figure out how to find that setting. My phone device does not show up in my Google app so there are no three dots to smash. Samsung 8. None of my other 16 devices do it. Just the phone.

Can you please tell us what Google Home/Nest speakers do you use? We'd also love to know what are the exact commands that you are trying so we can start trying some steps that might resolve this.

Anytime I say Hey Google or touch my microphone on the Google search bar in the Google app.. just started this about a month ago. Consensus says that it is a setting on my phone, but I have not changed any settings on my phone or in my Google app or in my Google Assistant. It just started doing it I'm assuming on the last automatic update. Galaxy S8

I am sorry. I forgot to mention I have five Google home speakers, one Google router with 2 satellite router/ assistance. 3 Chromecast. Evelyn Google hub screen.

No. They do not make any noises whenever I command them. And they are doing what they are told. Like I have said above, the issue is only with the phone. I am merely trying to figure out how to stop my phone from making a noise when I say hey Google. It did not do it before. It just started.

Since there are no issues with the speakers, it would be best if you will reach out to your phone's manufacturer to check some settings. That way, they can rule out what's causing this to happen.

Yes. I would love for someone to tell me how to access my Google settings in my phone Android device. And exactly which One controls the sounds. Because Google is the only app making any noises on my phone
