Google Home vs Devices with Chromecast

Im just curious if there is a difference in the Goolge home and mini vs a device that has chromecast built in? I have a Bose 500 speakers and it comes with Google Chromecast which allows me to say " Hey Google" and control everything I need. I would like to know if I am losing any features by not using a Google device?

Hey Flair,

Google Home devices are the Google’s line of smart home speakers while Google Assistant is a voice-controlled personal assistant. If you have a Google Home or smart speaker that has a built-in Google Assistant, you can ask any questions and control your smart home devices. The only difference I can provide is that some features are only specific to Google Home devices. It still depends on the integration of some smart home devices to some smart speakers.
