Google home refuses to play a particular radio station

I used to be able to play AM640 Toronto but now Google tells me "I can't do that here but you can ask me to play it on on one of my other devices??

Any ideas?

Playing music from TuneIn has been broken for weeks now. No response from Google yet.

AM640 (CFIQ) Toronto is not working. The other stations I try work fine.

It looks like AM640 (CFIQ) Toronto is the only affected station as others appear to be working. Let's continue to monitor its behavior and we'll update this thread as soon as we have news from TuneIn.

I am having the same problem 640 am Toronto won’t work. I have tried many different ways of pronouncing the radio station but she keeps telling me “ she can’t do that here but you can ask to play it on one of my other devices. WHAT OTHER DEVICES I AM ADKING GOOGLE NEST TO PLAY 640 am Toronto radio station this is so annoying.

I’ve got five devices - 1 original , 3 minis and 1 Display unit. None of them have worked properly with TuneIn since mid May. I like to Play CBC Radio One through the day. I get the response “playing CBLA FM on TuneIn” then usually get the TuneIn ad, followed by silence.

Not sure what has happened but it seems worse now. I now have to ask maybe 10 times now to play a particular stream before it stops responding with a 'something went wrong' reply. I used to have to only ask 5 times.

I also have not been able to play AM 640 for a few weeks and as of this morning I can't play Newstalk 1010 either. That is on iHeart Radio not Tunein.

What is going on?

I’m in Sydney and have had no problems playing Sydney radio 702 until now. So frustrating. I can play others but not my fav 702. Can you help please.

Ok, Newstalk 1010 is working. Must have been a temp glitch. AM 640 still not working.

Ok after weeks of frustration not being able to play 640 Toronto I figured it out. I asked google to play “global News Radio 640 Toronto” it was finally broadcast. I hope this works for everyone.
