I am new to an Iphone. I am newer to the Google Nest Mini.

I have connected the mini to an electrical power source. The manual directs me to download an app from the App Store. What APP Store? What App? I have never downloaded anything except on my desktop PC. The language and directions are totally foreign to me.

I must pick a platform but I don't know what a platform is. What is IOS? What is Android? My web browser on my PC is Google, on my Iphone it is Safari.

To setup your Google Nest Mini, you have to download the Google Home app on your phone. Follow the steps below to know how:

Open the App Store on your phone.
Tap "Search" on the lower right corner, then enter "Google Home."
Tap "Get" to download the app.
Once done, follow the steps on this link to set up your device.
