How to connect nest mini (2nd gen) via Home app in 2022?

The Google New Home App does not have an option to ‘show paired devices’. How can I connect to Nest Mini 2nd gen via Home App as speaker is not visible in the Bluetooth devices in July 2022? Older posts advice is based on old Home app. I just want to play YouTube on the speaker and it does not show it in casting options or bluetooth devices. It works fine with Spotify. Thanks

Hey Adinn,

I'm glad you reached out! Please note that casting YouTube from your phone to Google Nest Mini speakers is not supported. As an alternative, you can connect to your speaker via Bluetooth by saying, "Hey Google, activate Bluetooth," then follow the steps below or visit this link to learn more.

On your mobile device's Home screen, tap Settings Bluetooth.
Turn on Bluetooth .
Tap the name of the speaker or display you'd like to pair.

Just to add, you can still cast songs from any cast-enabled music service provider like YouTube Music, Spotify, and Pandora.
