I would like to start a routine when the sleep icon is active.

Is this possible and how (start the routine when someone is in bed) ?

Hello Alex

I want to start a routine for example in the night when someone gets out of bed (care application).

Or start a routine if someone ignores (turns off) their wake-up alarm and stays in bed.

The routine could then, for example, send a message to the healthcare provider, or turn on the lighting.

Something like Withings sleep analyzer

Hey Marchel,

Google Nest devices don't support starting a Routine based on your sleep, but you can customize the Bedtime Routine to help with your sleep needs. Check this guide for more information.

Thanks for your advice, but that's not going to help me detect if someone is getting out of bed.
I will have to use another solution until this is possible.
