Look and Talk doesn’t Respond

I’ve enabled the Look and Talk feature, my language is set to English (US), the Nest Hub Max is running the latest Fuschia software, however Look and Talk doesn’t respond.

When I look at the device it shows the grey dots, then the coloured ones when I talk, but then nothing happens, the coloured dots just keep on bouncing until I say “Hey, Google”.

Does the camera work at all for you? The camera on mine works for sensing, but won't allow me to use it to make calls, view the live cam feed, and as I noticed just today, Look and Talk doesn't work either - same as yours , those coloured dots moving but not doing anything till I say Hey Google.

Yeah the camera works fine on mine, shame about yours though!

I set up Look and Talk this week, everything shows as activated but it does not work. Now I have Red Boxes around all my pages and themes and when I touch the screen its says "Default". looks like I'll have to factory reset - i can't see anyone with this issue. Perhaps setting up Look and Talk created the issue. I had been using it for a week with any issues whatsoever

Thanks for reaching out.

Could you please share us a photo of the exact display you're getting? For thos who are still experiencing the issue, let's toggle and turn off Look and Talk then turn it back on.

Open the Google Home app .
On the Home screen , tap Settings .
In the “Features” section, tap Google Assistant Face Match.
Find the name of the Nest Hub Max turn off “Look and Talk.”

Let us know how it goes.
