Outside LEDs stay on when playing media on Nest Mini

When playing media through the Nest Mini speaker the outside two white LEDs light up. This is really annoying as I like to listen to my audiobooks at night to get back to sleep without the whole room being lit up!

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I’m sorry you have that experience, let’s check what’s going on. A few things: does this happen when listening to audiobooks only or other media too? Do you have other Nest speakers? If so, are they doing the same thing? What steps have you tried so far?

If you already did a reboot, try to do a full reset and set up your Nest Mini as a new device again, then observe if it will correct the issue.
