Everytime I ask my Google assistant to find my phone or ring it it says that my old phone should be

First of all this is not about the device listed above. I can't find relevant options so i chose something to ask someone to help me with Google assistant. So my issue is that I bought a new phone and i am using it for a few months now and my current phone is connected to my Google account. But every time I as Google assistant to ring my phone it says the name of my old phone and says it should be ringing now. (Both of my old and new phones are Android) How do I deal with this? There are no other devices connected to my Google account but I can't get Google assistant to ring my current phone can anyone help?

Hi Debasishiam,

You need to go to the Google Play store link below and disable your old phone and enabled your new phone from the 'show in menus' section.

Also remove your old phone from your Google account if you don't want it to be recognisable anymore.

Hello there,

Gotcha. When you visit this page, what devices are you seeing? If it's not your IQOO Z3, try adding it then delete/remove your old devices. Make sure you're using the same Google Account you've used on your Google Assistant.

To confirm, have you tried deleting and re-adding your device to your account? Do you have another phone/tablet that we can add on your account to see if you will have the same issue?
