Nest Hub is not displaying photos properly

I have google photo and set up my nest hub to display the photos. On most of them, it lops off the top of the photos. Is this fixable or do I have to throw this in the trash and buy someone else's product?

That is not my problem. It's displaying all my pictures, but cutting off the top quarter of the pictures.

@kscarroll54, we're sorry to hear about this experience. Have you already tried to check the size and the resolution of the photos you're using? Also, does it happen on all of the photos displayed? We'd love to know more details so we can try some steps.

I don't believe it happens on all of them. No, I haven't checked the size/resolution. I have over 25GB of photos, most scanned, going back to the 1900s. Is there a limitation that is not published? It should be possible to tell the Nest to size to fit the window.... Just sayin'

Hi kscarroll54,

Each Live Album you create has a limit of 20,000 photos. To expand beyond that, create a new Live Album and enable it in the Photo frame settings. Your Nest display should show photos from all enabled albums.

Open the Google Photos app .
Tap Library New album .
To name your new album, tap Add a title.
Tap Select people & pets tap the ones you want to include Confirm.
Open the Google Home app .
Touch and hold your device's tile.
At the top right, tap Settings Photo Frame Google Photos.
To enable your new album for Photo frame, tap your new album.

You're still missing the point. The top 1/4-1/3 of the picture does not show. It's cropping the pictures instead of scaling them.

Understood. To make sure, is it also happening with other Photo frame like Art Gallery? Have you tried creating a new album? If possible, could you send us a photo of your Nest Hub display?

only on the nest, not in gallery or photos, not even on my apple phone.

your app won't allow me to upload an image.
