Apple Music not linking to Google Home for Nest Hub Max in SOUTH AFRICA

Hi all, I am in South Africa and have a Neat Hub Max that I am unable to link to Apple Music although it reflects as an option in the available services. When I go through the linking process, I’m given an error msg at the very end saying that Apple Music is not available for Google Home in South Africa. I see that 5 countries were added for Apple Music last December (2021) but a year later, still no support here though Alexa supports it in South Africa. What’s up with this? Any advice on a work around?

Hi Madhatter2212,

Apologies for the inconvenience. I totally understand that these are good features to use with your Nest Hub Max, but these features are not yet available in South Africa. You will be able to see the option on your Home app to link your Apple account however, it is the Nest Hub Max itself that’s not able to accept the feature. The function is country specific.
