I have a google nest hub max linked from my previous Google home network

I have a google nest hub max linked from my previous Google home network.

After I moved, I deleted the home network and created a new one. I just learned that this was not recommended. Anyways, It shows up on my new home network in the Google Home app, but when I tried to set up the nest camera, it says I can't because it is connected to another account. And followed by this... "To continue with setup, it needs to be removed from its previous account. "

I already deleted my Google home account, so I have no way to remove this nest hub from the previous account. Also, the hub still has my old address.

How can I remove the link from the deleted account? I already attempted to factory reset but that didn’t work .

t's too bad Google Nest does not yield an error when trying to delete a Google Nest "home/structure" that is NOT empty, or deleting a Google Account that still has a Google Nest "home/structure"; it would save customers like you lots of headaches.

I think you'll have to try contacting Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) on whether there is any option for your dilemma.

@Raeann123, we’re sorry to hear that you are having concerns with your Nest Hub Max. Let’s go ahead and find the solution. It would help a lot if you could do a factory reset one more time to refresh its settings before going to the next step. Once the reset is done, follow the steps below to create a new home structure:

Open the Google Home app.
At the top, tap Add.
Tap “create new home”.
Follow the steps.

Once the new home structure is created, set up your Nest Hub Max to it. Reinstalling your Google Home app should be of big help, too!
