One day one of them didn't respond at all.

I rebooted again.
I also tried factory reset.
Mini still didn't respond.
(The booting process was different from usual)

Google Home Mini crashes for no reason when updating.
There are many reports in Korea.
It has been exchanged for many people!!

I'm not a software engineer, so I don't know...
Because it can't be solved by software,
I guess they made an exchange?

I tried to contact Google Nest.
"Can you help me solve this problem?"

I told Google Nest clearly.
"I don't really want to exchange"
"Tell me how I can keep using this."

Google Nest's answer was always the same.
"This product is out of warranty and is not eligible for exchange."

To eliminate network issues, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Home device). Let's see if your speaker will finish the update when connected to a different network.
