Hoping this is the right area for this. Basically I'm having my garage converted to an office etc, but WiFi won't reach that area. So I'm going to have an access point installed. Now, I'd like to have smart devices in there and would be great having it all under the same group on my Home app. Is this something that is doable?

If I've not explained it clearly enough, please let me know what would make it clearer

Setup your AP with the same SSID and password as our home wifi and you should be good, as long as they are on the same subnet.

Hey jamesgraham,

Thanks for reaching out! Kudos to @kiltguy2112 for helping. I can confirm that if you set up your devices on the same network even if you're using an access point it should work together in a group. Just make sure to set up your network with the same name and password.

To learn more about setting up your device, please visit this link.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
