Orbit sprinkler panel always displays "loading" under home automation.

I have an Orbit b-hyve irrigation controller that automatically adjust according to the weather and all local watering restrictions. Works great and integrates perfectly into my google home app on the phone. (... and if you live in Los Angeles, you get the purchase price fully refunded!!).

There seems to be a cosmetic problem on the nest hub screen such that the device always shows as "Loading" 24/7. I would expect it to show "Stopped" exactly as in the home app on the phone, but currently doesn't. (Note that if I open the panel on the Nest Hub, I can control it just fine.)

A picture shows it best. Looks like a bug.

My apologies for the late response. I understand how it feels when you notice that something is not right on your device information shows on the Google Nest Hub. A few questions: when did it start? What specific Nest Hub device do you have (1st, 2nd gen, Hub Max)? What is the firmware version of your Nest Hub? Also, what are the steps that you'be done?

This is a brand new Nest Hub (2nd Gen) (<2 weeks). It has been like that from the beginning.

I am not too worried because the problem is purely cosmetic, just displaying "loading" forever (instead of "stopped" as it should!). I can control the sprinkler (start/stop) via the panel on the nest hub (... but I am not really allowed to do that anyway because of local water restrictions!). The irrigation controller is fully automatic and weather based so there is no need for me to operate it via google home integration ever.

Just please file it with the developers. I am sure that there is probably only one bit in the wrong place somewhere. 😄

Thanks for following up. Yes, It still shows permanently as "loading" on the Nest hub. (works fine in the home app where it shows as "stopped", which is correct.)

Firmware version: 0051 (up to date)
Hardware version: WT24-0001
