&lt;P&gt;That's not exactly the experience we want you to have with your Nest Hub. Since you have already tried doing the factory reset and had an update and still having black lines on the left side, it would help a lot if you could send us a picture showing those lines.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Below are the steps on how to upload a photo or video:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Start a new post or reply here.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click Insert Image.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Choose an image source location.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Follow the on-screen instructions&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;By the way, is your Nest Hub responding to commands even when having those black lines? We'll be waiting for your response.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Black lines in Google Nest Hub screen</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a nest Hub which I was not using for almost a year, purchased on Aug 2021. I have turned it on today, and in the display, black lines are coming on the left side.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have done the updates and factory reset, still the black lines are still there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
