Im actually freaking the hell out right now basically my home mini js woke up me at exactly 1 am right on the dot and played eerie static sounds so I reset the home every things normal for a bit the same sound plays but this time it won't let me reset so I unplug BUT WALLAHI IT PLAYED FOR A GOOD 2 MINUTES I GOT SO SCARED I SMASHED IT. IM WRITIJG THIS TO ASK WHAT THE HELL SHOULD I DO

Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Home Mini. Let's try to get to the bottom of this. To confirm, is it still working now? When did the issue start? How often does it happen? Where is your device located? Does it happen while you're playing music?

Let's go ahead and reboot your device by unplugging it from the power source and leave it unplugged for 1 minute. This will refresh the status of your device. Also, it will be helpful if you place your speaker on a location away from any appliances that may cause your device to make a static sound.
