Slow actions - reset not solution

Hello, since the beginning of this week the two nest minis we have, started having the same issue.

Hey Google, turn on/off ...

For 15 to 20 seconds the lights on the mini remain on after that. Or the device is turned on/off or we get the message "i dont understand" or "something went wrong"

Rebooting the minis, no solution

Factory reset, the first command works swiftly after that the same.

Removed voice matching and removed history.

Removed audio, calling, video etc.

Device 1:

Firmwareversie van systeem: 324896

Firmwareversie van Cast: 1.56.324896

Device 2:

Firmwareversie van systeem: 324896

Firmwareversie van Cast: 1.56.324896

Checked functionality on hotspot, wifi of neighbours, DMZ and other VLAN SSID. All result in the same horrible outcome.

Operating the chromecasts, lights etc by phone, tablet works normal. (Wifi, 4G, VPN)

Does anyone recognize this issue, knows any resolutions?

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. I know how challenging it can be when you're having issues controlling lights using your Google Home Mini. To confirm, are there other features affected like playing music?

Let's go ahead and check if the iPV6 on your router is enabled. If yes, let's have it disable first then check if your device will have the same behavior.

Hello Muddi,

All features on the mini is affected. Ipv6 is disabled by default on the home network.

Using Google Assistant on my phone works.

Since two days out of the blue the lights go on on the minis without a voice command given out.

If i look at the network DNS and DHCP logs they ask for the DNS of www.google.com and they get a normal reply.

So network is ruled out, due that other de devices like chromecast, lights, tablets etc work normally and due that nothing happened or changed on the network over the last two years.

Google Nest Mini (have 2) started both with:
"Hey Google whats the time?": After 20 seconds we get reply.
"Hey Google, turn of kitchen": after 20 to 40 seconds either it turns off the lights or it states that he encountered an issue or that he doesnt understand.
I have reset the units back to factory defaults, resetted all integrations, removed Disney+, Netflix, meet etc
Issue persists.
They have worked a long time with almost direct actions. In the network nothing has changed..
Seems to be a firmware issue die that Google Voice commands by phone work directly, using Google Home buttons in the app/widget works directly.
Ipv6 has not been on nor will it be enabled
Chromecasts work normally.
Please give me feedback on how to downgrade the units to the previous firmware.
Previously i was able to connect to the units by rest api, that is not available anymore
