Response time Google Mini vs Alexa

I have an Google Mini sitting next to my Alexa Echo Dot and I am noticing a significant response time difference between the two. The Echo Dot almost answers instantly where If I ask the same question to the mini, it seems to think for a few seconds before answering. This is for releatively simple questions like weather forecast. Has anybody had a similar experience ?

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it a Nest Mini or Google Home Mini? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? How long does it take to respond?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
Restarting your phone might also help.

Once done, see if there’s a difference if your Echo Dot is unplugged and tell me how it goes.
