Couldn't sign you in

unable to download app Recipe Keeper from Google Play store on my Google Nest Hub Max. After typing in email or even telephone number on Google Account screen I get the message Couldn't Sign You in: This browser or app may not be secure. Repeats if you Try Again. The browser is Chrome preinstalled on the device and the app is from Play Store and loads on my android phone and tablet.

I am ready to return the Google Nest Hub Max. Big disappointment. Help.

Are you referring to this https://goo.gle/3PZI3SK ? If yes, let's make sure that the right account is logged in same with the account linked on your Google Nest Hub Max. Also, I would recommend to try using a different device making sure that it has enough memory or storage.
