Hi r_d,

Thanks for trying the steps. Could you try unlinking your lights and link it back? As soon as you link it back, say the same command, "OK Google, sync my devices".

Let me know if this works for you.

I have a 2nd gen Nest Hub in my living room and Nest Mini in my bathroom. If I say "light on/off" to my Hub, it will turn on/off the light in my bathroom 80% of the time instead of the one in my living room. If I say "light on/off" in my bathroom, it will still always turn on/off the bathroom light. This started about a month ago. No new devices were added in the mean time, no changes were actually made to any of the devices - only possibility is updates. Devices are in correct locations in Home app. Devices also respond correctly (as in if I say a command in living room, the Hub will always respond - no double voice detection). What gives???

Hi r_d,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

I appreciate all the details you've shared. Let's go ahead and try these steps:

Reboot your Google Nest Hub and Nest Mini simply by unplugging the devices from the power source for a few minutes.

Do the same with your router, unplug it and plug it back after a few minutes.

As soon as all the devices are plugged in, try saying "OK Google, sync my devices". After that, check if the lights performed the command given.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Hi Princess,

thank you for taking your time to reply, but unfortunately none of these steps helped. Saying "light on/off" still picks a light between these two rooms at random.
