Google Home is giving me a friend's name for my birthday!

My birthday is approaching and my Google Home is giving me daily reminders. Except, Google is insisting it's a friend's birthday, not mine! I've checked all of my contacts sources - every one is correct (both mine and hers). I checked the Google Home settings, all correct. How do I fix this?

Hi KayakKate,

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out. Confirm on Google Calendar if it shows the correct event on that specific date. Then, go to the Google Home app > Devices > Tap your Google Home device > Settings > Remove device > Remove.

Back on the Devices tab, scroll down to Other cast/Local devices > Tap your Google Home device > Add to a room. Follow the instructions in adding it back to a room > Unplug your Google Home device for a minute > Plug back in > Check the event.
