Hello

I noticed recently that the volume control command for my home mini is not working.

everytime I ask it to change the volume on the speaker it just responds with "Use a remote to adjust the volume. See Chromecast settings on this TV for more options.“

I don't want to change the volume of the chromecast, I want to change the volume of the Nest Mini.

Even when specifying the home mini by name. The response is still the same

Hi PistolP,

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out. Have you already taken any troubleshooting steps? If not, give these steps a try:

Open the Google Home app > Devices > Choose your Google Home Mini > Settings > Remove device > Remove.
Back in the Devices button, scroll down to Other cast/Local devices > Tap your Google Home Mini > Add to a room. Follow the instructions in adding it back to your room.
Unplug your Google Home Mini’s power cable for a minute > Plug back in > Control the volume again.
If the issue persists, do a factory reset.
