How to connect normal speakers WITHOUT bluetooth to google home

Greetings community,

Is it possible to connect my very unsmart but expensive speakers without bluetooth to google home?

I'd like to buy 3 devices to setup speakers in each room to connect to the google home app.

Is there a compatible device similar to chromecast but that only spits out audio instead of video & audio?

There used to be Chromecast audio but they are no longer made. They came with a single headphone type connector and connected via wifi to your system just like a normal chromecast,

So with a speaker with built in amp you would plug the CC audio into the aux socket. For ordinary speakers you need an amp wired to the speakers. We have this set up in the kitchen and it's brilliant.

I guess you could use a Chromecast with google TV with an audio extractor, but maybe overkill.. don't know. It would be better in the amp 1, and not in the speaker itself.
