Photo Frame Not Updating

I just got a Google Nest Hub Max mainly to use as a photo frame. I liked the idea it was also a Google Home. However, when I add new photos to the album I'm using for the display, they don't show up.

I've tried changing albums and settings, and sometimes new ones show but mostly they do not. How do I get the new photos to show up?

It seems that the new photos are not being recognized in the album.

Hi cynblue,

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it.

Go to Google Photos and confirm that new photos are showing on the album set on your Google Nest Hub Max.
Unplug your Google Nest Hub Max from the power outlet for a minute.
Open the Google Home app > Devices > Choose your Google Nest Hub Max > Settings > Photo Frame.
Toggle to Art Gallery, and then go back to Google Photos > Tap the arrow side > Choose the album you want to use.
If the issue persists, go back to Google Nest Hub Max device’s settings > Remove device > Remove.
Go to Devices tab > Scroll down to Other cast/Local devices > Tap your Google Nest Hub Max > Add to a room. Follow the prompts in adding it back to a room.
