it would be amazing it google assistant could hear whispers and respond with a whispering voice. is there a way that in a near future update to get this feature on our devices?

Probably patented by Amazon, as Alexa does this.

You can set the speakers to go quiet between certain times, in the Home app

Google Nest speakers are designed to respond to our commands as long as the device can hear us clearly starting by using the hotwords "OK Google" or "Hey Google".
