Just received my notice that price is doubling. Is that some kind of next level Google inflation?? It’s absolutely ridiculous, and the product has had zero improvement from original purchase. Absolutely terrible way to treat customers who cannot easily change products. Your greed is disgusting.

I think it is the 1st gen subscriptions that have the largest price increases. Google Nest has been trying to get us customers to move to the 2nd gen subscriptions for 5 years now.

Our Nest Aware Plus subscription is increasing from $120/year to $150/year when it renews in June, the first increase since we got it in 2020.

In the entire time I have had the subscription, I have not received a single message asking me to upgrade or explaining the benefits.
