Home and Away detection

My Nest shows me as away even though I am home. How do I fix that so it is detecting when I am actually home and away?

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, but I wanted to make sure that your issue was addressed. You first need to download the Nest or Google Home App, and make sure that it is connected to the same wifi that your Devices are connected too. Then when you leave, it should automatically put it into the appropriate setting.

This feature DOES NOT WORK. There is an issue with the app. It just does not work. I have tried EVERY recommended & suggested solution. It used to work fine before Google took over, now it just will not work. PLEASE FIX THIS FAULT. This feature is the reason I purchased the stat. But judging by the amount of complaints on the forums about this I suspect Google just don’t care.
