Hope someone can reply to this - I have now bought a new nest 3rd gen to replace my old nest 3rd gen. Have put the new one on the base. Everything seems fine - I can connect to the wifi. However, it says connecting to the heat link and then it goes dead. Does anyone know why?

Hi

Following on from an old conversation, I have decided to replace my old 3rd gen thermostat with a new one - I wanted to find out if I can just buy a new one and stick it on the base and then link it to my home broadband. Will there be any issues?

Thanks in advance

Jeevan
