Nest Doorbell Camera

My doorbell camera sends me notifications, but I can only see still pictures. And my history only seems to go back one day. I do have Nest Aware, but it does not seem to be functioning.

What you get for video history depends on what Google Nest doorbell you have and what Nest Aware subscription you have, assuming everything is working correctly. Note that a Nest Aware subscription applies to only one "home" or "structure" in the Google Home app (or in the Google Nest app).

You can check what you get for each Google Nest doorbell (or camera) for each subscription level here. Note that on this page, Google Nest is now calling the Google Nest Hello Doorbell the "Nest Doorbell (wired)". That is not to be confused with the new Google Nest Doorbell (Battery), which they call "Nest Doorbell (battery)" on this page and which CAN be wired to your doorbell wires but still runs off of the battery with the battery being trickle-charged. These naming conventions cause all sorts of confusion.

My Nest doorbell is hard wired and until a few weeks ago I had been able to view clips when I received notifications. Now all I get is a picture and I cannot change the zones I have set up.
