My somewhat new google home mini decided to stop working today after I had requested that google turn the volume to ten, it had turned off moments later it had stayed on two white lights for a while, then it had went into the flashing “thinking lights” after that it started to repeatedly do the turn on sound/welcome sound. It had also disconnected from my google home app and I’m not able to access it at all through the app nor am I able to restart it.

Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Home Mini. A few things I'd like to ask -- are you using the original power cable for your Google Home Mini? Also, have you tried performing a complete reset?

If reset is not yet done, let's try it to check if that would change its behavior. As soon as it is done, set it up again.
